As Senior Manager of Government Affairs, Katie advocates for the GR Chamber’s infrastructure, natural resources, health care and human resources priorities at the state level. From road funding and drain code to lowering the cost of prescription drugs and increasing access to mental health care, Katie is a subject matter expert whose passion is advocating for a prosperous business environment allowing the opportunity for great jobs in our community.
Katie is a Chamber aficionado who previously worked at the Clarkston, MI Chamber of Commerce and the Denver Metro Chamber. She boomeranged back to Michigan and landed in Grand Rapids in 2021. Katie is a registered lobbyist and graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in sustainable parks, recreation and tourism. When she’s not working, Katie enjoys our Lake Michigan beach days and concert venues.
