About Me

Paul serves as the president of Bank of America West Michigan. In this role, he is responsible for connecting clients, teammates and communities to the full power of the franchise, driving integration across our eight lines of business. He oversees our efforts to grow market share by fostering local connections and identifying opportunities to grow and deepen our client relationships.

In addition to his role as president, Paul leads the Operations and Strategic Partnerships team focused on delivering on Bank of America’s 5 year, $15B Community Homeownership Commitment through grants, community revitalization programs, and affordable mortgage loans and small business lending.

A native Michigander, Paul started his career with Bank of America in Detroit in 2010 in Consumer Banking, and has held progressive leadership roles in Wealth Management, Digital Banking, and Mortgage Lending, focusing on empowering associates to better serve clients and communities.

Paul and his family relocated back to Michigan in 2018, and he has become an active member of the Grand Rapids community, serving on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Kent County and the American Youth Soccer Organization, and is an active volunteer with multiple organizations. He also serves as the chair of the Northeast Board of Governors for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and was selected for the Crain’s Grand Rapids “40 Under 40 Business Leaders in West Michigan” cohort in 2023.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, and an M.B.A. from Columbus State University, and resides in Grand Rapids with his wife and three sons.
