Your West Michigan.

Why It Matters

The decisions being made right now will shape your bottom line for years to come.

Tax policy. Workforce regulations. Infrastructure. Permitting. Elected officials set the conditions under which you operate — and those conditions are changing. The Friends of West Michigan Business PAC exists to ensure those decisions are made by people who actually know what it takes to run a business.

  • Elect Business-Friendly Leaders. We support candidates who share our Chamber values and understand that a strong business climate means stronger communities.
  • Champion Pro-Growth Policy. We back lawmakers who will fight for policies that drive innovation and expand opportunities across Michigan.
  • Build Lasting Influence. Political giving isn’t transactional — it’s a long-term investment in relationships that keep doors open and your voice in the room.

How It Works

Our PAC Board is made up of diverse business leaders from across the region. Endorsements follow a clear process anchored in the Grand Rapids Chamber’s policy priorities, not political affiliation.

Your Chamber membership and sponsorship dollars are never used for political giving. All contributions comply strictly with Michigan campaign finance law.

The debates happening in the halls of government today will define your operating environment for years to come. A contribution to the Friends of West Michigan Business PAC is a commitment to making sure that environment is one where businesses like yours can compete, grow, and thrive.

*Contributions can be made through personal funds only – no corporate checks please.
