Androni J. Henry, MD, MMM, serves as Senior Medical Director and Associate Chief Medical Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, where she is accountable for quality and experience at the intersection of affordability, quality, and population health. An emergency physician and senior physician leader with more than a decade of experience, Dr. Henry focuses on improving outcomes and member experience while advancing value-based approaches to care.
Before joining BCBSM, Dr. Henry led quality, safety, and experience-of-care programs at Trinity Health Grand Rapids, supporting systemwide reliability, patient experience, and value-based care initiatives. She previously served as Senior Director of Quality at US Acute Care Solutions, where she oversaw multi-state quality, risk, and safety programs for emergency departments across diverse markets.
Dr. Henry is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Emergency Physicians. She is an Adjunct Professor of Healthcare Quality at Carnegie Mellon University and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine
