Government Affairs Committees Looking To Expand in 2022

Government Affairs Committees Looking To Expand in 2022 7

It All Starts Here

The Grand Rapids Chamber takes an intentional approach to policy positions by listening to members who direct our advocacy efforts on the issues most important to them. This process starts with policy ideas and legislative proposals introduced at our issue committees. Issue committees are available to members to engage in our policy process, network with other members, and stay informed with current events.

“Participation in committees with the Grand Rapids Chamber not only provides an opportunity to be well-connected, it also provides plentiful opportunities to learn about all the great things happening in our local community,” said Ben Charlick, Human Resources at Tyson Foods and chair of the Education & Workforce Development Committee. “Whether it be related to talent, education, or the legislature, meetings have proven to be a high value add and have made a positive impact on myself and our organization.
