Adrienne Goodstal is a seasoned executive leader with over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She currently serves as the Executive Director of North Kent Connect, where she is leading transformative efforts to help families break the cycle of poverty and achieve long-term economic independence. Adrienne is deeply committed to affirming the inherent worth and dignity of every individual, a value that drives her personal and professional mission.
Prior to joining North Kent Connect, Adrienne held senior leadership roles at Mel Trotter Ministries, where she oversaw initiatives in affordable housing, medical and mental healthcare, workforce development, and public policy advocacy. Her background in public administration, program development, and system-level change brings both strategic insight and a heart for social impact to underserved populations.
Throughout her career, Adrienne has been instrumental in developing innovative programs to close critical gaps in the social services sector. She collaborates closely with government agencies, philanthropic partners, and community leaders to drive meaningful change at both the individual and systems levels.
Adrienne’s commitment to community extends beyond her professional work. She serves as the Board President of Catherine’s Health Center and on the Board of Directors of United MethodistCommunity House. She serves on the Grand Rapids Coalition to End Homelessness Steering Council, reflecting her long-standing dedication to uplifting marginalized communities in Kent County.
She holds a master’s in public administration and a Bachelor of Science from Grand Valley State University and is a frequent speaker on issues related to social justice, equity, and community transformation.
