Geoffrey John Miller is a seasoned manufacturing executive with a distinguished career in engineering, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing both advanced and traditional production systems. As President and Chief Operating Officer at Grand Rapids Chair Company since 2012, Geoffrey has been instrumental in driving the company’s strategic growth, overseeing a 105% increase in sales over a decade. His leadership extends to a variety of high-impact initiatives, including the successful restructuring of the senior management team, the development of a Strategy Deployment System modeled after Toyota’s Hoshin Planning, and the diversification of the company’s distribution channels.
Geoffrey holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Engineering from Grand Valley State University. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Resources Ecology and Management from the University of Michigan.
