Elisa Rodriguez is the Founder/CEO of M&I Interiors LLC, a minority family-owned construction company founded in early 2019. The company was a collaborative idea between two individuals seeking a better work-life balance and chasing their dream to create their own construction business. The idea was curated around a desire to want and create financial stability for the family-owned business as well as change the Latino construction industry within Michigan. M & I strives to provide quality work, utility, valuable customer service and excellent diversity inclusion in regard to collaborative work amongst the construction industry. Also, as a Mexican/American with strong cultural values, one of Elisa’s main passions is to cater to the underserved/non English speaking communities, with a compassionate heart.
Being a daughter of immigrant parents, Elisa understands the struggles and barriers these communities face on a daily basis. As a business owner, Elisa dedicates free business advisory to other Latino/a business owners to provide tactical tools to increase cash flow and expand networks. Elisa believes everyone should have the same opportunities despite socioeconomic status/cultural background. As Elisa will say ” The sun comes out for everyone” (El sol sale para todos).
