DeAndre’ Harris advises employers across industries on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including disability and leave, workplace safety, wage and hour compliance, and termination issues. He also litigates employment disputes and conducts internal investigations into discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims. With a practical, client-focused approach, DeAndre’ prioritizes understanding each client’s unique definition of success and tailors his guidance with strategic flexibility. While he is meticulous with details, clients rely on him to keep sight of the bigger picture, ensuring well-rounded and effective solutions. DeAndre’ is a fellow of the American Bar Association, a trustee of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and has been named to Best Lawyers® Grand Rapids “Ones to Watch” list for several consecutive years. He serves on the board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids, participated in the Leadership Grand Rapids 2023 Cohort and was among the Emerging Leaders Class of 2019. DeAndre’ earned his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, magna cum laude, and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University.
