Hayley was born in raised in Grand Rapids, growing up on the NE side of the city. She attended Cornerstone University for my undergrad with a major in ministry and sociology with a minor in non-profit administration. After graduating in 2019, she began a fellowship with New City Kids, an urban ministry, working with at-risk youth and families. This is where she developed a passion found a passion for working with students, families and community development. Her previous role was at Kent Schools Service Network as a community school coordinator, where she worked directly in the school providing resources, promoting family engagement, and developing relationships with community partners.
Hayley is the Program Manager for the Silent Observer Program at the Chamber. She is excited to support the mission to foster a safer community and advocate for families, and work to prevent crime in West Michigan. Silent Observer offers the opportunity for the chamber to partner with law enforcement, media, and community members to create a more prosperous West Michigan where families can safely live, work and play.

In her free time, Hayley enjoys exploring the city with her 5-year-old daughter. She also loves to attend local markets and pop-up events around Grand Rapids.
