Ashley Diersch holds a Communications degree from the University of Michigan and advanced degrees in Leadership from Lawrence Technological University and Central Michigan University. In 2023, she earned her CFRE (Certified Fundraising Executive) credential. Her nonprofit career began at Special Olympics Michigan, focusing on fund development, event management, and corporate sponsorships. In 2014, she joined Kids’ Food Basket, advancing to Vice President of Development, where she led major campaigns, helping to raise over $13 million for expansion projects and programs in the KFB footprint. In 2023, Ashley became the Vice President of Community Impact at Meals on Wheels Western Michigan, and in 2024, she joined Paws with a Cause as Chief Advancement Officer, overseeing fundraising and communications. Actively involved in the community, Ashley is on the board of directors and the immediate past president for the Association of Fundraising Professionals West Michigan and No Surrender Run Club. She has also served on a committee for Girl Scouts Michigan Shore to Shore and the board for the West Michigan Asian American Association and the original planning committee for the Grand Rapids Asian Festival. She lives in Caledonia with her husband, Carl, their golden doodle, Colby Jackson, and the PAWS puppy they are raising DUNCAN.
