Alison Mast is the President of West Michigan for Northern Trust Wealth Management. Alison is responsible for leading the Grand Rapids-based team in the delivery of holistic advice and outstanding client service, while seeking to accelerate the growth of the firm’s wealth management business. Previously, Alison served as the Head of Strategy for Northern Trust’s Wealth Management business. In that capacity, Alison worked closely with practice and corporate leadership to identify, prioritize and implement strategic initiatives within Wealth Management. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Alison worked as a management consultant at Accenture and McKinsey & Company. She also served as a Corps Member for Teach For America, teaching Spanish at Hartford Public High School in Connecticut. Alison is Treasurer, Vice Chair and Board Member at the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park and Executive Committee Member for Junior Achievement of the Michigan Great Lakes. Alison received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in English and Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Michigan. When she is not chasing after her four kids (under five, no multiples), which is admittedly rare, she enjoys reading historical fiction and cooking.
