Chamber Issues Forum: Technology and the Future of Public Safety

November 20 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Grand Rapids Chamber's event Chamber Issues Forum

Technology and the Future of Public Safety

From real-time data and connected devices to new tools in the field, technology is changing how police, fire, and emergency medical services respond to the community. This Issues Forum brings together leaders from three of West Michigan’s public safety agencies. They’ll discuss how their departments use technology to speed up response, use resources well and keep residents, workers and visitors safe.

Attendees will hear how these tools work day to day, how agencies weigh new technology against cost and community trust, and what the changes mean for local employers and the business community. The program includes a moderated conversation and time for audience questions.
