Beginning Wednesday, September 9, the Grand Rapids Chamber Work Cafe will be available by appointment-only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays! Reservations can be made starting Friday, September 4, by calling the Chamber office at (616) 771-0300 or by emailing Kessia Graves at Kessia@grandrapids.org. All visitors will be required to complete a pre-visit health survey and will have their temperature checked upon arrival, courtesy of Applied Imaging.

Applied Imaging is excited to be the exclusive dealer to offer non-contact kiosks that automatically read body temperature in seconds, with optional facial recognition. This kiosk is invaluable as we return to conducting business as usual while keeping our members, staff, and community safe.

The Grand Rapids Chamber is thrilled to have this piece of technology in our space as we begin to re-open our collaborative, physically-distanced work space. We have missed working alongside our members, and look forward to cultivating an environment where we may begin to do this safely.

“As an essential business, Applied Imaging remained open during the stay-at-home time frame to support our clients and their technology needs,” said John Lowery, Applied Imaging’s President and Founder. “Utilizing technology to help businesses protect the health and safety of their employees and customers as our region re-opens is merely an extension of what we’ve been doing since Day One.” …read more here.
