As Director of People Services at Feyen Zylstra (FZ), Ana Espinoza is responsible for shaping talent strategies around attracting, retaining, and developing FZers. Her work is grounded in FZ’s purpose of having a positive impact on the lives of people as she leads her team in creating safe, energizing work environments, offering opportunities to learn and grow, and providing great pay and benefits for FZers.
Joining FZ more than eight years ago as an individual contributor, Ana has since advanced to lead the entire People Services function and serves on FZ’s executive team. She has fearlessly guided the organization through tight labor markets, the impacts and conflicts of COVID‑19, and periods of rapid growth, all while demonstrating a clear vision and people-centric approach to leadership. A first‑generation Mexican American and bilingual professional, Ana proudly leverages her background to support FZ’s diverse employee population across six branch offices in the United States.
Ana holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornerstone University and is a Leading Edge program alumni through the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, as well as a Lead 24/7 alumni. She also holds a variety of talent assessment certifications, including Pondera, DISC, and SHRM-CP.
