Eva S. Alexander serves as the Strategic Operations Manager at the Office of Global Michigan, where she drives statewide strategies to ensure language access, equitable service delivery, and workforce development opportunities for diverse communities. Partnering with Equity and Inclusion Officers across Michigan, and the Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer, she works to embed diversity, equity, and inclusion into the core of state practices.
A proud Latina leader and immigrant, Eva is fluent in Spanish and brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work. She holds a master’s in Organizational Leadership from Aquinas College and has a proven track record in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and building bridges between ethnic communities and institutions.
Before joining the State of Michigan, Eva served as Executive Director of Lighthouse Immigrant Advocates, where she strengthened the organization’s sustainability and impact. Her career reflects a deep commitment to advocacy, community empowerment, and creating pathways for Latinas and all underrepresented voices to thrive.
