Rena Dam is Global Detroit’s Global Talent Corporate Outreach Michigan Program Manager. Her professional background includes executive recruiting, working internationally with English Learners, community development and cross-cultural communications. Currently, her work focuses around educating and equipping local companies to hire International graduates from Michigan universities.
Rena spent the last five years developing an expertise in placing professionals in key roles at manufacturing companies in West Michigan (and beyond). Educated in Cultural Studies and Communications, her experience spans the globe from growing up in Asia to four years of community programming in East Africa. Based in Grand Rapids, Rena can be found playing sports with her kids, native gardening, hiking in the woods or researching anything interesting. She loves learning new things, travelling, and bringing people and ideas together.
