Tricia A. Keith is President and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, leading the $40.6 billion company serving over 5 million members. As its top executive, Keith focuses on driving innovation, enhancing affordability and reinforcing the company’s role as a trusted partner in improving health care outcomes. Under her leadership, BCBSM continues to expand its market reach, advance member-focused health insurance and technology solutions, and strengthen its commitment to the communities it serves.
Keith has held several key leadership roles in her nearly two decades at BCBSM, including overseeing critical enterprise functions such as Information Technology and Operations, Legal, Human Resources, Governance and Corporate Services, while driving growth in key government programs like Medicare Advantage and Medicaid.
Keith also played a vital role in BCBSM’s transition to a nonprofit mutual insurance company and spearheaded major initiatives like “BLUnite,” uniting employees in a single downtown Detroit campus. She has been recognized for her leadership, named among Michigan’s most influential women and serves leadership roles for several industry and community organizations. Keith earned a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University and a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University.
