Mariah Manuel-Berry is an experienced Learning and Development professional with over a decade of expertise in cultivating learning cultures and empowering individuals to embrace their potential and excel in their careers. She specializes in coaching, leadership development, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), and strategic organizational transformation, leveraging data-driven techniques and fostering collaboration.
In her current role, Mariah rapidly made significant contributions, revamping the company’s DEIB initiatives, leading growth in the learning and development department, and actively collaborating with employees and leaders.
Mariah holds a Master of Science degree in Training and Development – Human Resources Development from Oakland University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations with a Minor in Communications from Eastern Michigan University. Additionally, she possesses certificates in Project Management and Green Belt, complementing her expertise in strategic planning and process improvement.
Throughout her career, Mariah has been actively involved in community engagement within the city of Detroit and was among the first-ever Power Forward Advisory Council members for The Heat and Warmth Fund (THAW), holding her position for over a year. She continues to contribute to her community as an esteemed member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and National Speaker’s Association (NSA) of Michigan.

Mariah spearheaded training and leadership development programs at Rocket Mortgage where her leadership development program garnered a remarkable 92% satisfaction rate among participants in the initial six months. She also founded “Knowledge Career Experts LLC,” a company that empowers mid-career professionals through career guidance, training, and diversity promotion. Over the course of nearly 10 years at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, she held key positions, including Service Quality Team Leader and Lead Corporate Trainer, where she played a vital role in fostering talent and designing effective training programs.
