Rebekah Bakker, was born in South Korea, adopted by a Michigan family and naturalized at the age of 4. She grew up in Holland, Michigan and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science with an International Relations focus. She worked in the public sector for over a decade before pursuing a career in the private sector. She now serves as the Managing Partner for DISHER Virtual Capital. Her lived experience as a Transracial Adoptee living in West Michigan influences her social entrepreneurship through her work as Vice President of Women of Color Give, and as a cofounder of a political consulting firm.
