Valerie Skorupski is the Newest Membership Engagement Manager at the Grand Rapids Chamber and is responsible for fostering relationships with current and prospective members. Originally from Ohio, Michigan quickly became home after graduating from Bowling Green State University in 2016, Majoring in Communications.
She’s had a desire to help people as she’s had previous chamber experience. From being Membership Director at the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce in 2019-2020, she grew a passion for helping local businesses, learning about community members, and how she can help play a role in all she does to make Michigan a great place to live, work and play. You can find her at Chamber events greeting you with a smile and giving compliments to cause more smiles throughout the day.

- She plays the flute and sings for karaoke or choir
- She loves exploring beaches, lighthouses, restaurants, hiking trails, and frequents Art Prize
- She makes a delicious blueberry-lemon scone with lavender icing.
