With excellent customer service, innovative technology and a convenient location downtown Grand Rapids, the Grand Rapids Chamber is an ideal spot for your next meeting, event or strategy session. 

Enclaves

Capacity: 1-3 people

Enclaves are available to all members at no cost on a first come, first served basis. Please check in with our concierge upon arrival for availability.

Small Meeting Rooms

Capacity: 4-8 people 

Board Rooms

Capacity: 12-15 people

Custer Transformational Hub

Maximum Capacity: 30 people

The Custer Transformational Hub features comfortable and unique furniture layout, ideal for full day meetings and trainings.

Conference Rooms

Maximum Capacity:

  • Classroom: 30 people
  • 8’ Round Tables: 30 people
  • Pods of Four: 24 people
  • U-Shape: 20 people

Conference rooms can be combined for additional capacity, as follows:

  • Classroom: 60 people
  • 8’ Round Tables: 70 people
  • Pods of Four: 48 people

Steelcase Conference Center

Maximum Capacity: 120 people 

Work Café Rentals*

The Work Café is available for after-hours events only. Access for set up starts at 4:00 p.m. Events may start at 5:30 p.m. and must end by 8:00 p.m.

The Work Café comes as is with all furnishings and décor. Furniture may not be moved unless given permission by Chamber staff.

Rental Information

Our office is located in Suite 150 of the Calder Plaza Building which unlocks at 8:00am. Room rentals are available in half-day and full-day blocks during business hours (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) Room rentals will be canceled if you fail to arrive within an hour of your scheduled time, as we need to accommodate our high volume of rentals for members.

All Conference Rooms Include:

  • Concierge to greet and guide guests
  • Whiteboard wall
  • Access to guest WiFi
  • Ceiling-mounted projector screen or TV screen (not available in enclaves)
  • Clickshare wireless presentation technology (not available in enclaves)
  • Conferencing camera for virtual meetings (not available in enclaves)
  • Optional wireless handheld microphones (only available in conference center)

Food & Beverage Information:

The Grand Rapids Chamber has partnered with select member caterers to provide food and beverage services within the Steelcase Conference Center.

VIEW PREFERRED CATERERS

In entering into a rental agreement with the Grand Rapids Chamber, the renter assumes full responsibility of catering coordination for his/her event. Please email the caterer(s) for a current menu, all of which are subject to change without advanced notice. Our team is happy to provide suggestions based on event needs.

Beverage stations are available for purchase. A $30 beverage station includes water and one coffee carafe. Additional coffee carafes are $15.

Linen Pricing:

The Grand Rapids Chamber offers white linens for our 8’ round tables in the conference rooms. $15 per linen.
