Introducing the Chamber Ambassador of the Year

The Chamber is honored to recognize Robin Bartells of Gordon Water Systems as our 2021 Ambassador of the year!

Since starting her Chamber Ambassadorship in April of 2018, Robin has been an incredible addition to the Grand Rapids business community.  The entire Chamber team is thankful for her continued commitment to support all of our members.

“While 2021 allowed for a somewhat slow return to normal, Robin adjusted quickly and was one of the first ambassadors to begin reconnecting with her fellow Chamber representatives. She jumped right back into her responsibilities as an ambassador and re-engaged with members at Chamber events and ribbon cutting celebrations,” said Mark Allen, Director of Business Services at the Grand Rapids Chamber. “Robin truly loves being an Ambassador and welcoming members, both new and existing, into our events. She often seeks out new members, makes them feel comfortable, and shows them how to get the most out of their Chamber membership.  Chamber staff and members alike can frequently be heard saying, ‘Robin is everywhere!’”

Robin works in both Sales and Marketing at Gordon Water Systems and has worked with them for just over 9 years.  When wearing her sales hat, she is focused on drinking water and clean air solutions for businesses of all shapes and sizes.  When wearing her marketing hat, she coordinates the social media postings for Gordon Water Systems and is involved with many of the community events they support with drinking water.

“I’m passionate about helping people have a better quality of life with clean, safe water and air. I enjoy promoting both my business and the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce whenever I can. Being a Chamber Ambassador and a Certified Tourism Ambassador provides me with many opportunities to make connections with people and businesses to help them thrive in this great community,” Bartells said.

Chamber Ambassadors help the Grand Rapids Chamber create great across West Michigan.
