E5: Wimage

It’s not every week an EPIC Award recipient is a guest on the podcast! This week, host Connor Smithee had a chance to sit down with Michael Hyacinthe and Pamela Alderman of Wimage, the EPIC Veteran-Owned Business of the Year.

Wimage has seen massive success over the last few years. Originally, Wimage was an app designed to help veterans visualize their thoughts and make them into art. The company has now expanded the app’s use to help children do the same. The app’s faithful mascot, Wimee also has his own TV show, Wimee’s Words, which airs on PBS.

We had a chance to ask Michael and Pamela what’s next for Wimage, as well as look back at their success, and how being a veteran-owned company sets them apart.
