Grand Rapids is home to a variety of professional sports teams, from the Grand Rapids Griffins to the West Michigan Whitecaps. For almost a decade, the city has also been home to the Grand Rapids Drive, a pro basketball team affiliated with the Detroit Pistons and playing in the NBA G League.

Now the team under the new name Grand Rapids Gold and a new partnership with the Denver Nuggets. After finishing their first season, Jbara sat down with podcast host Connor Smithee to discuss the successes of the team and what it takes to manage an NBA team here in Grand Rapids.
