With the weather getting warmer, and the days getting longer, one might be longing to trade those cubical walls for the crisp summer air. Grand Rapids is filled with outdoor work locations if you’re looking to get some vitamin D while you work on that big project.
Richard App, the Grand Rapids Chamber’s Retail, Retention, and Attraction Specialist compiled this list of his favorite downtown work locations.
“When it comes to working remotely and I am already properly caffeinated I tend to want to get outside. This past winter feels like it is just leaving us and the snow will be flying before we know it so it is best to make your remote work plans now,” App said.
City of Grand Rapids Parks:
Our parks are great spots to enjoy the weather and get things done. We have a good group of parks that offer free wi-fi that include:

Monroe Center
Monroe Center is also a great spot to work. Our social zones have multiple hotspots from area businesses, and Rosa Parks Circle is now open to the public. This is another great spot to people watch and work remotely.
