This event will feature Troy Cumings from Warner Norcross + Judd and John Sellek from Harbor Strategic Public Affairs. Troy and John will be discussing the MI SUCCESS Coalition, a new coalition representing environmental, labor, manufacturing, and energy entities, supporting legislation to position Michigan as a national leader in the use of safe, high-tech carbon capture and storage technology.
MI SUCCESS (Safe Utilization of Carbon Capture for Environmental & Economic Success) is backing bipartisan policy to create a reasonable state-level regulatory system to govern and encourage the use of carbon capture technology, which will drastically reduce the release of carbon dioxide into our atmosphere.
After this presentation, you will hear from legislators about upcoming legislation and House and Senate committee activities, prompting great dialogue between legislators and Chamber members.
