The Grand Rapids Chamber proudly announces Tom Damitio, Partner with Corporate Conversions, as the recipient of the 2024 Ambassador of the Year award. This recognition celebrates Damitio’s outstanding dedication and contributions to the Chamber Ambassador Council.

Joining as a Chamber Ambassador in 2017, Damitio, has made significant impacts through his commitment and active involvement in Chamber events and programs, enhancing both the Chamber and its members’ experiences. The Grand Rapids Chamber expresses deep gratitude to Tom Damitio for his dedication in serving as an Ambassador and consistently supporting members.

“Tom is a cornerstone of the Grand Rapids Chamber Ambassador Council, serving as a resource to both members of the Chamber and council members,” stated Amanda Hentsch, Senior Director of Membership at the Grand Rapids Chamber. “While you can often find Tom working from the Chamber’s co-working space, he always goes out of his way to build relationships and foster belongingness during his busy day. Additionally, Tom has been instrumental in rebuilding the Chamber’s Ambassador Outreach, ensuring the Ambassador Council is receiving critical feedback from members to drive the Chamber’s work.”

As the Partner at Corporate Conversions, Tom has many responsibilities, but his favorite task is diving into the diverse world of business and uncovering growth strategies that help companies scale through smart marketing. He’s passionate about linking people and resources in West Michigan, helping to create connections that matter.

Thank you to all of our Chamber Ambassadors for supporting our members through events, programs, ribbon cuttings, business consultations, and more.
