Are you opening a new business? Expanding your current location, celebrating a milestone anniversary, or relocating your office? The Grand Rapids Chamber is here to celebrate with you!
A ribbon cutting celebration is a great way to increase the visibility of your business and engage the community. The Grand Rapids Chamber offers ribbon cutting services to members celebrating a grand opening, expansion, relocation, groundbreaking, milestone anniversary and more.
Ribbon Cutting Guidelines
- At least a two-week notice before the date of your event is preferred.
- Ribbon cutting services are offered Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- The Chamber will provide the big scissors, red ribbon, and a photographer.
- Please plan in advance where the ribbon cutting will take place and who you would like to participate in the ribbon cutting photo.
- We encourage you to manage your own promotion of the event to increase attendance and awareness of your business’ opening. You can consider inviting business partners, contractors, employees, customers, friends, and family to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. Please do not rely solely on the Chamber to attract your audience.
