Adam Dee, FSA, MAAA is the Vice President of Actuarial for Health Plan Business (HPB) at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. In his role Adam oversees various Actuarial teams that predominantly support commercial business for both BCBSM and Blue Care Network including individual, small group, large group insured, self-funded, and stop-loss product offerings.
Adam has worked in healthcare for over 20 years including various roles in both the consulting and insurance industries. In his time at BCBSM Adam has held leadership roles in several areas including pricing, reserving, financial forecasting, regulatory filings, and underwriting. Prior to his time at BCBSM, Adam was a consulting actuary at Towers Watson where he provided benefit consulting services to many large, Michigan-based employers.
Adam is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Michigan State University.
