Araceli Hernández is the owner of Florbella Salon, a beauty salon offering hair, skin care, massage, eyebrow services, and more, located at 6162 Michigan Ave., Detroit, Michigan, 48210. She moved to the U.S. in 1987 from Guadalajara, Mexico.
Araceli is licensed as a Michigan cosmetologist, manicurist, and esthetician, in addition to several certifications. She studied at the Madeleine Meyer Institute in Guadalajara. She is also a minister of marriage ceremonies and has married many couples, specializing in Spanish ceremonies. She is also a notary public in the state of Michigan.
She worked alongside her sister Faviola López in her two beauty salons, where they offered cutting-edge beauty and nail services. In 2022, she purchased the building on Michigan Avenue and moved her salon.
Araceli believes that by making her clients look pretty, she makes them feel good. She cares about being kind, treating others with respect, and making her clients happy. She strives to improve her techniques to create art through beauty.
