About Me

Jessi Goldner is Waséyabek’s Vice President of Strategic Engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in accountancy and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Western Michigan University. She is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) through the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics (SCCE). Ms. Goldner is a proud Member of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP) and has worked for her Tribe since January 2011, having worked in various government roles prior to taking a position with Waséyabek in early 2014.

As VP of Strategic Engagement, Ms. Goldner is responsible for raising awareness of Waséyabek’s commitment to creating a profitable family of companies while simultaneously increasing Tribal awareness, engagement, and quality employment opportunities. She manages the Waséyabek Leadership, Exploration, and Development (LEAD) program aimed at providing opportunities with Waséyabek and its portfolio companies for Tribal Members.

Ms. Goldner has a diverse background that includes regulatory and program compliance specifically in the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) and other minority certification programs; leadership and education program development; risk management; hospitality and event planning; and marketing.

She has served on the NHBP Housing Committee; and continues to serve on the NHBP Education Committee; Grand Rapids Chamber Minority Certification Board; and various organizational committees.

Ms. Goldner resides in Schoolcraft, Michigan, with her husband and twin girls. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as traveling, attending concerts, and golfing.
