Loanna Abreu is a dynamic leader with a passion for community, social justice and mental health advocacy. She is known for her work in community engagement and outreach, providing mental health care to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. She is also known for serving in several leadership board positions for local nonprofits in Grand Rapids, such as Mental Health Clinicians of Color, Inforum and Somos Comunidad Fund at the Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Embedded in her brand is her joy for facilitating mental health training and speaking engagements to bring awareness and advocacy for mental health, especially as it relates to the Hispanic community. Loanna is very family oriented, in her free time you will find her spending time with her nieces and nephews, exploring the outdoors and new countries/places with her husband and her loved ones.
Loanna was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and migrated to the United States when she was 12 years old. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a Minor in Latin American Studies from Grand Valley State University, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University and she is a Limited License Psychologist.

Loanna nació y creció en la República Dominicana y emigró a los Estados Unidos cuando tenía 12 años. Recibió una Licenciatura en Psicología con especialización en Estudios Latinoamericanos de Grand Valley State University, una Maestría en Consejería Psicológica de Western Michigan University y es una psicoterapeuta.
