María Fernanda Gómez Rodríguez was born in Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Law at ITESM Monterrey and a master’s degree in Labor Law at UANL.
She worked at the Nuevo León Conciliation and Arbitration Board, and later moved to Monclova, Coahuila, to work in the automotive industry at Johnson Controls within the Labor Department.
In 2003, she returned to Saltillo to work at CDI Coahuila in the Administrative, Legal and Labor Department until 2010. She was Professor of the Law Department at ITESM Monterrey and Saltillo (2000, 2008, 2009).
Since 2012, she has worked as a real estate agent in Michigan for the company Real Estate One, providing services for the purchase, sale, and rental of properties in the United States, Mexico, and The Riviera Maya. She obtained her certification as a real estate agent in Texas in 2018. She has been part of the Real Estate One Relocation Department in Michigan since 2016.
Maria is a founding member of the Mexicanas en Michigan group since 2012, and of Friends on Board Foundation since 2013. As well as founding partner of Trust Title since 2021.
She has received several awards for her community support and high sales as a real estate agent since 2015, the latest being the President’s Diamond REO 2022. She has also been a guest host of Radio Centro Multicultural La Familia since 2022.
She is married and has two sons, Javi and Fernando, both in college. She moved with her family in 2010 to Northville, Michigan.
