Micalah Suser graduated from Hope College in the Fall of 2023 with a BA in Communication and a minor in Business and Organizational Leadership. Presently, she works at Meijer Corporate as a Business Analyst for Consumables.
Micalah Suser, served as the team lead consultant for a collaborative project between the Center for Leadership at Hope College and the Grand Rapids Chamber in the Fall of 2023. Noele Stith served as a subject matter expert (SME). Micalah’s team conducted an in-depth business study on the ease of doing business in the Grand Rapids region, with a focus on inclusive engagement and the factors impacting businesses’ ability to launch, grow, and succeed.
The primary objective of the report was to provide the Grand Rapids Chamber, its members, and the broader community with comprehensive insights into the business environment in the Grand Rapids area, paying particular attention to underserved communities. Through surveys and data analysis, the report provided valuable input from the local business community, identifying both opportunities and threats to the region’s economic success.
