Sean graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/Prelaw in 1990 and received an MBA from Western Michigan University in 2001. He served as a Legislative Aide in the State Senate from 1991-1996 and went on to join the Michigan Health and Hospital Association as Manager of Legislative Issue from 1997-1999. In 2000 Sean joined Ascension Health Michigan as Manager of Public Policy and went on to serve as Vice President of Advocacy and then Chief Advocacy Officer for Ascension Health Michigan. Sean joined Trinity Health Michigan in 2019 as Vice President of Advocacy and Government Relations, Michigan Region.
