Shamus O’Keefe joined the Lighthouse team in 2019 as an employee benefits broker. Prior to joining Lighthouse, he was an account executive (25 years) selling life insurance, disability insurance, voluntary benefits & leave management systems with the top 5 carriers in this space. My role was to work with brokers around the Midwest to develop the most effective employee benefit & leave programs to help attract as well as retain top talent for employers. I am married to Stacey O’Keefe (who is also my business partner at Lighthouse). Stacey is one of the premier consultants working in Michigan with an expertise in the self-funded medical space. The synergies that we offer working as a team allow us to bring unique ideas to the clients as well as the ability to solve the unexpected problems that show themselves on a regular basis. We have (3) grown children and (1) grandson. We have partnered with the Lighthouse team to support the amazing work the Special Olympics is doing in our communities. My hobbies include snowboarding, golf, and the Detroit Lions!
