Zoey O’Brien was born and raised in West Michigan and went to Grand Rapids Community College. She currently works as an LGBTQIA+ Patient Navigator in the healthcare system. Prior to working with the LGBTQIA+ community, she worked with insurance companies Priority Health, and Blue Care Network, and also worked as a medical dispatcher. She has extensive experience with medical systems in Michigan, both personally and professionally, and works to ensure all people are treated with dignity and respect when receiving healthcare.
