The 2024 Diversity and Talent Summit, themed “Fostering Inclusive Leadership: Innovate, Inspire, Include” is one of the Chamber’s signature events, designed to bring together thought leaders, executives, and HR professionals. The summit will explore innovative strategies for talent acquisition and advancing Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) within the workplace.

Dr. Rhae-Ann Booker Award for Inclusive Excellence
During the summit, one recipient will be awarded the Dr. Rhae-Ann Booker Award for Inclusive Excellence. This award is new in 2024 and honors the former vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion at the University of Michigan Health-West, Dr. Rhae-Ann Booker, by recognizing individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to DEI in West Michigan.
Established by the University of Michigan Health-West and Grand Rapids Chamber, the award celebrates those who carry on Dr. Booker’s legacy of transformative DEI initiatives and community impact.
