There is a lot of noise that the economy is slowing, but as the fastest growing region in the state, West Michigan isn’t slowing down.
Updated data for Ottawa County in 2021 showed that despite significant progress in increasing housing supply, demand doubled. With this shift in the market as well as the impacts of the pandemic, an update was also completed for Kent County to determine current demand and to drive supply solutions forward.
In 2020, the first housing needs assessment was conducted and determined a demand for 22,000 housing units in Kent County. Recent data shows that demand is even higher today. Join us for a virtual townhall to learn more about what the most recent Kent County Housing Needs Assessment tells us.
