About Me

Nohemi Herrera was born in Guerrero, Mexico. At only 31 years old, she has managed to be a source of inspiration for many who have seen her face obstacles and fight alongside her four children as a single mother. She has managed to stand out as one of the best-known women in the Michigan area in the transportation business, passionate about her work and helping others, which has led her to demonstrate that there is no age or gender that prevents you from rising as an entrepreneur.

Nohemi was also a beneficiary of the DACA deferred action program. She has achieved a dream that she never imagined would happen due to having been in the shadows for years, like many others. Nohemi managed to buy a franchise from one of the largest and most prominent companies in the United States, without a dollar in the bag, she said, “Yes,” as soon as the opportunity arose.

Her honesty has been her best strategy, as well as her openness to build a base of trust in her clients, which has helped her grow in less than a year, creating a chain of agencies throughout Michigan to be within reach of everyone who needs their service.

One of the biggest challenges that Nohemi faced during the time she started her business was raising her newborn, along with her three other small children, alone, trying to survive the postpartum depression that pushed her to the point of leaving everything. However, she did not give up and worked hard every day, taking advantage of every opportunity that came her way.81

Nohemi believes that there are many women, like her, who want to start a business, but who are stuck halfway due to difficult situations, sometimes due to finances, feeling incapable, or for the simple fact of not believing in themselves. However, what Noemi always keeps in mind is that strong women face life’s daily obstacles, sometimes with a tear, but always with their heads held high.
